2006 New Year celebrations may have just passed, but the world’s best VR Photographers’ 360 degree panoramas from the celebrations are sure to amaze. The panoramas show how people around the world celebrated the New Year in differet styles.

New York Times Square is probably the most well known New Year Celebration in the world. Hundreds of thousands of people packed into New York’s Times Square to welcome in 2006 in high spirits. This year the celebration was much hotter with Mariah Carey performing live in ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Carey joined co-hosts Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest in the last few minutes of 2005.
