There are no simple solutions to address rape in this world, but a simple device like the Rapex, may just save an innocent victim from her bastard rapist. Rapex is a device that is inserted into the vagina by a woman who feels she is at risk of rape, and if she is attacked, small burr-like hooks will attach themselves to the tip of the rapist’s erect penis. Surgery is then required to remove this device, which will alert hospital staff, and ultimately, the police.

Believe it or not, the inventor, Sonette Ehlers said she was inspired to design the device after meeting a young rape victim in a hospital in 1969, who told her, “If only I had teeth down there.”
