Malaysia’s top model, Amber Chia said vicious talk of her being a husband stealer has affected her acting career. The girl who is from Sabah said she feared the public, fans and her sponsors might perceive her as the kind of woman who went after married men.

“This is the last comment I will make on this. I just want to get on with my life,” she said.

Renowned Taiwanese director Ang Lee began filming his latest movie “Lust, Caution” at several locations in Ipoh recently. Lee, who recently won an Oscar for best director for Brokeback Mountain, started shooting at Jalan Bandar Timah at around 1pm today.

The cast and crew were in a customary prayer ceremony where they sought blessings for a smooth filming.

The spy thriller, based on a 26-page short story by famed Chinese writer Zhang Ailing, or Eileen Chang, Lust, Caution features several international actors and actresses, including Cannes Film Festival award winner Tony Leung, Chinese-American pop star Wang Lee-Hom and mainland newcomer Tang Wei.

People do all sorts of crazy things to go into the Guinness World Record. This time, a baseball game that began at 10 a.m. on Saturday ended on Sunday at 4:05 p.m! Insane?

That’s 30 hours and five minutes between the first pitch and the final out. Game organizers are counting on the contest being long enough to break a world record.

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has died after a string-ray barb caught him in the chest on Monday, September 4 2006.

The 44-year-old hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist was swimming off the Great Barrier Reef filming an underwater documentary when the incident happened. Irwin was at Batt Reef, off the remote coast of northeastern Queensland state, shooting a segment for a series called “Ocean’s Deadliest” when he swam too close to one of the animals, which have a poisonous barb on their tails, his friend and colleague John Stainton said.
