Let’s Migrate to Paris - Shortest working hours per year in the world

December 4th, 2006 by Maria

I came across this piece of picture which shows the average number of working hours per year for people in some major cities in the world. What’s astonishing is that people in Santiago, Kuala Lumpur and Bogota are the most hard working bunch, topping the list.

Santiago people works 2,250 hours in a year. A rough calculation reveals that perhaps he is only spending 8.4 hours at work in a day, taking into consideration Saturday and Sunday as non-working days. 8.4 hours is not a lot also, right?

Which city are you currently staying in? How many hours do you work in a day?

At the end of the list is surprisingly, Paris! Folks, let’s migrate to Paris, where we get to relax the whole year… hahaha.
