Spray-on Condom

December 6th, 2006 by Maria

Free size shirts do not really fit everybody nicely, because there is just no one-size-fits-all in this world. The same goes to… well, condoms! :)

However, as far as your imagination goes, some smart German sex educators are planning to launch a spray-on condom which fits all sizes.

Spray on condom

“We’re trying to develop the perfect condom for men that’s suited to every size of penis,” the inventor, Jan Vinzenz Krause from the Institute for Condom Consultancy said.

“We’re very serious.”

Krause’s team is developing a type of spray can into which the man inserts his penis first. At the push of a button it is then coated in a rubber condom.

Anyway, if you are planning to rush to the nearest 7-eleven for the spray-on thingy, you may need to wait a little while because this new invention is only expected to hit the stores by 2008. The price is not cheap too; the spray can would likely cost some 20 euros (14 pounds) and the latex cartridges (sufficient for up to 20 applications) would cost roughly 10 euros.

Worth a try in 2008? :)

That photo is not of the condoms you’re referring to — it’s a completely different condom-spray on the market in China, which is sprayed inside the vagina and contains silver particles that are purported to kill harmful micro-organisms. I included a link to the website where I saw the photo.
