Submission to web directories is one of the best ways to get more traffic for your website. However, the problem is there are thousands if not tens of thousands of such directories and all of them are similar between one another. You can submit to all of them but you may not benefit much from the submission because your link is buried deep inside the directories, i.e. page number 8, which requires a search engine to crawl as many as 8 pages before reaching your link.

These old fashioned web directories sort sites that sign up with them according to popularity, submission date, Google Page Rank, or alphabetically.

The world’s tallest living man, Bao Xishun (鲍喜顺), 56, a 2.36-meter (7-ft, 9-inches) herdsman listed by Guinness World Records married a 29-year-old saleswoman on 24 March 2007. The saleswoman, Xia Shujuan stands at only 1.68 meter (5-ft 6-inches) tall is more than two feet shorter than his husband. Both of them come from Chifeng in Inner Mongolia.

Bao has been searching for a bride for the past few years. He sent out marriage advertisements across the world and going through a long selection process, the efforts have finally paid off. But what’s surprising is that his spouse is actually from his home town!

A recent research in Japan reveals that more than a third of married Japanese couples do not have sex, and this contributed to the country’s exceptionally low birth rate. The Government research suggested that 34.6 per cent of couples had not made love for more than four weeks.

“My research shows that if you don’t have sex for a month, you probably won’t for a year. This is very bad news for the country’s birth rate, and something the Government needs to look into urgently.” said Kunio Kitamura, the director of the country’s Family Planning Association.

Doctors and anthropologists didn’t wait to come up with a few simple reasons why the Japanese are giving up sex.

• The busy lifestyle of many urban Japanese men and women. To them, work is much more important than sex.
• Most Japaneses’ thin-walled and small apartments do not offer much opportunities for privacy.
• Poor communication especially among older Japanese, who are constrained from discussing sex even with their spouses.

In another study done by the condom manufacturer, Durex, Japan came last in a table of countries which had the greatest sexual satisfaction. Japanese have sex 45 times a year, compared with the average of 103.

Servers at five booths dispensed about 130 pounds of “fried oysters,” or sheep testicles, at the Saturday event in this historic mining town, Virginia City.
