A tree’s love is Immortality?

This is going to sound like the Magical Faraway Tree.

There is apparently a chic little restaurant in Okinawa, Japan that is built on top of a tree. Whole 20 feet above ground, with a view of the soothing ocean to boot!

Restaurant on a tree

How’s that for a prime business spot. Judging from the picture, I’m not sure if I would call it an “Ooh la la” eatery. But that’s not a fair judgment from someone who think mullets and glam rock pants should make a comeback.

Nonetheless, you have to give this restaurant 10/10 for creativity and flair. An elfin appreciation of nature whilst enjoying exotic food? How quaint is that?

Interestingly, the place serves a variety of Asian food like Thai, Japanese and Indian. So you get a choice of Eastern dishes.

Be sure to add this cozy little spot on your tour of Japan. And if you happen to have a quirky sense of humor, do dress up as the Fellowship and show up for a meal. That would be classic, wouldn’t it?
