This is going to sound like the Magical Faraway Tree.
There is apparently a chic little restaurant in Okinawa, Japan that is built on top of a tree. Whole 20 feet above ground, with a view of the soothing ocean to boot!

How’s that for a prime business spot. Judging from the picture, I’m not sure if I would call it an “Ooh la la” eatery. But that’s not a fair judgment from someone who think mullets and glam rock pants should make a comeback.

Calling all crime fans out there! Is this criminally cool or what? Having crime-solving kit at home is cool but not at the beach. So what is there to bring to the beach? How about this!
Machine-washable, soft, 100% cotton that look just like real crime chalked outline, you’ll definitely make a scene, or capture attentions and perhaps get interrogated by a few hotties with this Crime Scene Beach Towel. Time to look cool with nothing to lose.

Some people are content with being Larry’s or Steven’s or Bob’s. Others prefer more unique names like Saleesha and Millicent and Aki. And then there are those that want something that they are sure no one else currently has or may ever have again.
Take Steve Kreusher, for instance. This Chicago bus driver petitioned and was approved to legally change his name to In God We Trust (”In God” now being his first name and “We Trust” being his last.) He claims that he wanted this name change to symbolize all of the help God gave him through tough times, but as he wants to use it to sign artwork he may just be wanting attention.
Talking about weird names…

“I’m going for a golden break!” says the man rubbing the magic chalk on his cue tip.
That’s the story a billiard enthusiast would tell his grandchildren.
Cue sport, be it English billiard or snooker or 8-ball; it’s a great sport of precision, strategy and mind. The seriousness aside; not often a person would say, “That’s the most attractive rack of balls I break in my whole life!” That’s true, how would you like to make a break at these rack of balls?

The swirl-patterned balls that will spin your head off!

This confusing rack will get your eyes crossed just to pot one ball in.

People nowadays can get so forgetful that they do not remember what day it is or what weekly event they are having on which day! Unless calendars are available at all times, it is unlikely the forgetful ones can survive through the week.

Then there is this new invention called the DayClock. It doesn’t show the time or the date; rather, it shows days, from Monday to Sunday. Weird and unbelievable it may seems, but I believe DayClock is the clock to have, whether you are traveling, going for deep-sea fishing or going for your weekly movie.

The problem with most computers (unless you have a notebook computer with a wireless Internet connection) is that they are usually hooked up somewhere besides the bathroom. And even those that can be carried along to the room with the porcelain throne, they aren’t easy to handle once you are sitting on the toilet. So what is a computer addicted person supposed to do when they are surfing the web and the call of nature sounds? Lucky for all of us computer junkies, the designers at ThinkGeek.com have come up with a solution to this problem – the Internet Urinal!

Made of hardy plastic and including a “female adapter,” this portable urine container makes it easy to never leave your desk chair again! Just think of how much more time you will have to play that RPG or download songs for iTunes.

In Tokyo, Japan, a pet parrot named Yosuke flew out of his cage and got lost. The police eventually rescued him from a nearby roof, but they had no idea who his owners are. Fortunately, Yosuke knew the right thing to do. When a veterinarian came to check up on him, he recited his name and full home address (down to the street number). He was soon reunited with his family.

That’s pretty smart. Most little kids who get lost in the mall can only cry and wail until their parents come to find them - not quite as smart as the bird-brained parrot.

Technology can be out of this world sometimes.
A company is Japan is very serious about underage smoking, very serious indeed. So it has decided to incorporate a bit of modern technology to nab these conniving little smokers. There will be super smart vending machines that will size you up and note your facial features. And deem you worthy of a smoke or not.

Well, nothing as devious as that, rejection doesn’t mean standing in the corner of room wearing a hat or mortifying phone calls to parents. A simple **beep** or perhaps buzzing red lights?
