USB Cooking Pan

September 4th, 2006 by Maria

Remember that I brought you some really cool multi-use computers, such as Power Booze Mac, Computer Toaster, and even a Beer Server? This time, I came across an even better usage for the USB ports - USB cooking pan!

USB Cooking Pan

Since the power carried by one USB port is very low, the design make use of as many as 30 USB ports and cables. The power is enough to cook an egg and barbeque a hot dog!

This is a good gadget to have. Now we can have our dinner cooked while we are working on the computer playing games :)

USB Dictionary & Thesaurus

August 18th, 2006 by Maria

Merriam-Webster has packed a 300,000 word dictionary and a 500,000 word thesaurus into this tiny USB flash drive.

USB Dictionary

The drive has only 256 MB of total memory, with a portion of that allocated to the software. In addition to the 300,000 word dictionary and 500,000 word thesaurus you get other applications as well like; grammar guide, confusable function that alerts you to words spelled differently that sound the same (there, their) and a crossword puzzle solver.

Students, writers and anyone who needs to check the dictionary often will all find this to be a great piece of equipment to have.

I myself is tempted to get one, but the website didn’t say where we can buy it :(

August 6th, 2006 by Maria

A young Dutch architect has created a floating bed which hovers above the ground through magnetic force. The bed - a sleek black platform, which can double as a dining table or a plinth - took six years to develop, according to the young architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars.

The price tag might send a lot of people off. It’s a whopping 1.2 million euros!
