Ang Lee Shooting Lust Caution In Ipoh

Renowned Taiwanese director Ang Lee began filming his latest movie “Lust, Caution” at several locations in Ipoh recently. Lee, who recently won an Oscar for best director for Brokeback Mountain, started shooting at Jalan Bandar Timah at around 1pm today.

The cast and crew were in a customary prayer ceremony where they sought blessings for a smooth filming.

The spy thriller, based on a 26-page short story by famed Chinese writer Zhang Ailing, or Eileen Chang, Lust, Caution features several international actors and actresses, including Cannes Film Festival award winner Tony Leung, Chinese-American pop star Wang Lee-Hom and mainland newcomer Tang Wei.

Snakes On A Plane Trailer

Nelville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) escorts a witness onto a plane headed for Los Angeles. Problem is, an assassin, bent on killing the witness, has released hundreds of angry, deadly snakes onto the same plane, the Pacific Air Flight 121. Nelville finds out and he’s bent on doing his job and getting the snakes back where they belong. But can he do it before it’s too late?

The Black Dahlia Trailer

The Black Dahlia is based on a true unsolved murder. In the 1940s, a young and beautiful woman named Elizabeth Short came to Hollywood, destined to become a famous actress. However, she was brutally murdered in 1947. Two cops, Bucky Bleichert (Josh Hartnett) and his partner, Lee Blanchard, investigate the death of Elizabeth Short. Bucky soon realizes that his girlfriend had ties to the deceased, and soon after that, he begins uncovering corruption and conspiracy within the police department.

Keira Knightley at UK Premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 2

As Queen Amidala’s aide in Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace, Keira Knightley drew attention because of her resemblance to the equally hot Natalie Portman. But her witty performance in Bend It Like Beckham and leading role in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl made people take notice.

In the sequel, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Keira Knightley reprise her role as Elizabeth Swann.
