All of them were scribbled in a public toilet somewhere in the world. From the looks of it, people had a need to share… as well as that need to relieve themselves.

Unless they specifically went in their to scrawl on the wall. Then that’s just sad.

1. Insulting to sharks?

Looks like the work of a silly teenager. Or someone young at heart. Maybe someone had a grudge against one of the folks working in the building?

In all honesty, this is the type of graffiti you can expect to find in a toilet. The kind that insults someone’s dad.

2. Part of job interview?

Then there are the wise-guys. The ones who always dreamed of being a stand-up comedian. That’s what this bit of writing implies. On the other hand, you wonder if someone did aim high.

If so, it is disturbing that the toilet roll(?) was right next to the ‘bar’.

3. Office politics goes down the drain

Well, well, well. Someone turned the loo into a public forum.

Everyone is sharing their opinion as well as all their bodily fluids into the public ‘vessel’. Not all at once, obviously. At least not all the time. According to the photographer, this was about the office toilet door.

Do I really want to know if someone in the office was going about their business with an unlocked/open door?

I’m just glad I don’t work at that office!

4. The switch that should not be

Every once in a while a Mojo-jojo wannabe wanders into the loo.

So all it takes is a flick of a switch.

In a public loo, no less.

Merely step on the pedal to activate the lifting mechanism. When the business is done, remove your foot from the pedal and the seat gently comes to a rest where it started.

It is really simple to use.

But really, why are guys finding it hard to put the seat down when they are done that even a device are invented just for them. Well, for US$29.95, this device is bound to remind them to raise and lower the seat appropriately. I am sure there are more-civilized men with no problem remembering all this at all.

There are rules in using the public toilets in Japan of course, just like how the sign shows it:

Let’s see now, sit properly, don’t squat on the toilet seat, don’t stick your head into the toilet bowl, don’t pee standing up (for the men), no fishing (what in the world are we to fish in there anyway?) and no dog style peeing at the urinals (very creative).

Then there is the more serious part of using signs about Japan’s public toilet:

I didn’t know using the toilet can be a threat to the strengthening of protection – unless, getting stuck in the toilet bowls requires attention from the national security.

OK, this is really funny. Before I looked closely at the photo, I thought the green guy is kids, you know, toilet size for kids:

How about that, battery than works by using pee. Not bad for an invention. Just make sure you dun get too overexcited and spill the “juice” in the battery or you’ll have a “scented” battery as well.

The face of toilet future does not come cheap. If the price on the bottom right is any indication, you could end up paying a hefty $6,000! And we thought buying hair/face care products were costly.

Well, it’s a twin toilet, kinda like a love-seat except you don’t neck. And let’s face it, no one’s going to cuddle on that two-seater.

It’s called TwoDaLoo (yes, you can cringe) and allows both spouses to use the toilet at the same time. And apparently it’s eco-friendly too, where twin bowls of the toilet are cleaned with a single flush.

It’s labeled a well meant effort to bring down emotional walls and get each other to communicate. Not unlike the awkward elevator moments when you have to make small talk and pray for no embarrassing moments.

So in the end, whoever cleans the bathroom has twice as much toilet scrubbing to do?

And you thought leaving the toilet seat up was a nightmare.

At first glance, the place looks like your normal cozy dining place. But if you look a bit more closely, you’ll notice that all the chairs here are actually toilet bowls. And the food comes in plastic containers shaped either like toilet bowls or traditional Chinese chamber pots! Not so hungry anymore, are you?

Don’t worry. The food here is probably delicious… and hopefully clean. The toilet theme is actually a pretty cool and interesting concept if you think about it. The restaurant, aptly named the Modern Toilet, has been drawing a steady crowd of adventurous eaters since it opened in 2004.

I can’t help but wonder about what dishes they have on their menu. Close your eyes for a minute and imagine some kind of light brownish curry served in a miniature toilet bowl — wouldn’t that look absolutely disgusting? And I bet there would be chocolate ice cream for dessert. Hahahaha…

Well, you can consider what the above dude does, he basically fixed a whole loo in place of his car seat complate with a toilet tissue holder! What an ingenious idea! Hahaha… now, you do not need to worry about answering mother nature calls while on the road.

I think this dude’s invention is much more practical compared to the portable car toilet invented by the Japanese. What do you think?
